CBRE appointed Jeremy McGown as its new market leader for Dallas-Fort Worth to head up the company’s advisory services.
The commercial real estate giant, anchored in Uptown, revealed it tapped McGown to oversee strategic direction and daily operations across all advisory services lines, including leasing, sales, valuations, finance and property management.
“I am honored to lead our Dallas-Fort Worth team and embrace the dynamic opportunities that are unique to our market,” McGown said in a statement. “I am committed to working alongside our talented team and continuing to drive growth for our people and our business along with exceptional results for our clients.”
His appointment follows the promotion of previous Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana market leader Brooke Armstrong to lead CBRE’s U.S. Advisory Services West Region and Texas.
“Jeremy has built a strong reputation within CBRE because of his commitment to excellence and his ability to create innovative ways to collaborate and execute a strategic plan,” Armstrong said in a statement. “He is a true team player that is consistently able to deliver great outcomes for our clients and our people.”
McGown, a former Navy officer, joined CBRE in 2022 from JLL and previously led the DFW Occupier group.
CBRE, which moved its headquarters from Los Angeles to Dallas in 2020, was the world’s largest commercial real estate services and investment firm by 2024 revenue.
In June 2024, CBRE relocated its global headquarters to 2121 N. Pearl St. in Uptown Dallas, where it houses more than 200 employees.
The company has over 140,000 employees and operates in more than 100 countries, offering services such as property management, leasing, sales, valuations, mortgage services and development.
