ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) – Every year, the Hispanic Heritage Month celebrations grow larger, and this year will be no different. The Alliance of Chicanos, Hispanics, and Latin Americans, better known as ACHLA, is kicking off the festivities with its annual Gala. The evening event is dedicated to honoring Latino culture and promoting community pride with live music and various performances.
The Gala will be held at the Château Theatre in Rochester on Friday, September 19th, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. To purchase tickets, visit ACHLA Gala.
Alongside their Gala, ACHLA is also sponsoring Latino Fest 2025, a community-wide event featuring music from across Latin America, traditional cuisine, and a family-friendly atmosphere that celebrates Hispanic heritage.
Last year, Latino Fest welcomed over 2,500 attendees. This year, the free festival aims to surpass its previous number, offering more than 60 local vendors, live performers, and a range of activities. One of the most anticipated events for both children and adults promises to be the Chihuahua Fashion Show.

Latino Fest will take place on Saturday, September 20, at Peace Plaza and Chateau Theatre, from noon to 7:00 p.m. For more information, visit ACHLA.
