WELL, ED, THEY’VE GOT THE BARRICADES SET UP OUTSIDE OF THE GARDEN AND WITH THE PARADE EXPECTED TO DRAW IN, A MILLION PEOPLE EXPECT SECURITY, TRAFFIC AND CROWDS TO BE OUT IN FULL FORCE. WELL DESERVED. IT’S A GREAT TEAM. CAM ANDREWS OWNS TITLE BOXING CLUB ON NEWBURY STREET. THE CELTICS FAN IS CLOSING EARLY TO WATCH THE PARADE. DEFINITELY SOMETHING YOU WANT TO BE A PART OF. IT’S HISTORICAL, SO WE DON’T WANT TO MISS IT. I DON’T WANT MY STAFF TO MISS IT. I WOULDN’T WANT ANY MEMBERS TO MISS IT. BILL EVANS IS BOSTON’S FORMER POLICE COMMISSIONER, NOW CHIEF OF POLICE AT BOSTON COLLEGE. HE WORKED A DOZEN VICTORY PARADES DURING HIS TIME WITH BPD. YOU DON’T WANT ANYONE HURT, YOU DON’T WANT ANY INCIDENTS, HE SAYS. OFFICERS ARE GETTING READY NOW AND WILL BE EVERYWHERE TOMORROW, EVEN IF YOU DON’T SEE THEM. I THINK WE LEARNED AFTER THE MARATHON BOMBING HOW IMPORTANT IT IS. MORE TO WORK INSIDE THE CROWD AND BEHIND THE CROWD, AS OPPOSED TO LINING OFFICES INSIDE THE BARRACKS, HE SAYS. TITLE TOWNS YEARS OF BACK TO BACK CHAMPIONSHIPS MEANS WHEN IT COMES TO CROWDS, THE CITY KNOWS WHAT IT’S DOING. PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT AND WE’VE BEEN PRETTY PERFECT AT THIS, AL. THIS CITY SAYS GLASS BOTTLES, COOLERS, LARGE BAGS, FIREARMS AND ANY KIND OF WEAPON DRONES, FIREWORKS ALL OFF LIMITS AT THE PARADE TOMORROW. PARADE STARTS AT 11 A.M. AND IS
