First look at Samsung’s new tech at CES 2025

CES hasn’t even started yet but consumer reporter Steve Noviello has already found cool new technology to show you. These are some of his favorite products from a Samsung preview event.

DALLAS – Samsung will be showing off its newest technology in a variety of ways during the 2025 Consumer Electronics Show.

Consumer reporter Steve Noviello got a preview before the official start of CES at the Samsung First Look event.

The company’s micro LED Beauty Mirror actually analyses your skin tone to give you data on things like pores, wrinkles, and pigmentation. Then, it will recommend different products that you can use to make your skin look even better.

A transparent micro LED display can be used in a variety of commercial applications. For example, you can have a museum display with information layered over the actual artifact for a more interactive and educational experience.

And then there are TVs – really big TVs. Samsung has what it calls the world’s brightest display, which uses about 30% less power consumption. The micro LEDs allow for a seamless transition between multiple displays for one continuous image.

One of the most popular exhibits at the event featured Samsung’s iconic line of framed TVs with a gorgeous, anti-glare, matte finish. There’s a new pro model out for 2025, plus 3,000 additional images to turn your TV into a work of art in your home.

The Premiere 5 Short Throw Projector turns whatever surface you are projecting on into a convenient touchscreen display.

And for when you can’t find the remote, Samsung’s Galaxy Watch has you covered. The watch allows you to use hand gestures to control your Samsung TV.

Finally, Ballie is a rolling, AI-powered robot that will follow you. It can project movies on the wall, play games with you, give you directions, or even make recommendations.
