The Georgia Bulldogs were well represented in this year’s NFL draft thanks to eight players being taken over the course of seven rounds. While these players go through rookie camp and prepare for their professional careers, we now know what numbers they’ll be wearing on Sundays.
The jersey numbers of all eight Georgia players who were drafted have been revealed. They are, in draft order:
Monroe Freeling, OT, Carolina Panthers — 57
Christen Miller, DT, New Orleans Saints — 52
CJ Allen, LB, Indianapolis Colts — 53
Oscar Delp, TE, New Orleans Saints — 88
Zachariah Branch, WR, Atlanta Falcons — 17
Daylen Everette, CB, Pittsburgh Steelers — 23
Colbie Young, WR, Cincinnati Bengals — 86
Micah Morris, OG, Philadelphia Eagles — 76
Additionally, the numbers of the majority of Georgia’s undrafted free agents have been revealed. Wide receiver Dillon Bell will wear 89 and punter Brett Thorson will wear 47 for the Minnesota Vikings; running back Cash Jones will wear 32 with the Atlanta Falcons; wide receiver Noah Thomas will wear 17 with the Cincinnati Bengals; and long snapper Beau Gardner will wear 45 for the Chicago Bears.
Freeling, Miller, and Jones are all wearing the same number from their college days at Georgia.
Georgia was tied for the seventh-most players selected in this year’s draft, sharing that distinction with Indiana, and Penn State. The only schools to have more players drafted were Ohio State (11); Alabama and Texas A&M (10); and Clemson, Miami, and Texas Tech (9).
This year’s class extends a strong stretch when it comes to Dawgs in the draft. The Bulldogs had 13 players selected in last year’s draft, eight players selected in the 2024 draft, 10 players taken in the 2023 draft, and 15 players selected in the 2022 draft.
