HOUSTON — Lucille’s Hospitality Group — which repeat James Beard semifinalist Chris Williams formed in 2021 — has sold one of its concepts, Rado Market.
Chef and General Manager Jaden Gaines, who has been with the concept since its inception, and her father, Houston comedian and community leader Ali Siddiq, will assume full ownership, Lucille’s said in an April 14 news release.
Rado Market is a hybrid all-day cafe and neighborhood market offering culturally conscious prepared foods, fresh groceries, local products, and a rotating breakfast, lunch and brunch menu curated by Gaines. She has been a key leader in day-to-day operations, overseeing menu development, food preparation, vendor management and event coordination.
Rado Market is located within the historic Eldorado Ballroom, a culturally significant music venue and community gathering space at 2310 Elgin St. in Houston’s Third Ward.
