Currently under construction, UTI-San Antonio, located at 5776 Stemmons Drive, will be UTI’s first campus dedicated entirely to skilled trades training. Pending all regulatory approvals, the new 50,000-square-foot facility will offer hands-on programs in Aviation, Welding, and HVACR, and a comprehensive electrical training suite that includes Electrical, Electronics & Industrial Technology, Robotics & Automation, and Wind Turbine Technician.

UTI-San Antonio will become the fourth UTI campus in Texas, joining existing locations in Austin, Dallas/Fort Worth, and Houston. The campus is part of UTI Inc.’s North Star growth strategy, which includes opening two new UTI campuses.

“Chris understands what it takes to build a campus culture that puts students first and brings faculty and staff together around a shared mission,” said Tracy Lorenz, President of the UTI Division. “His leadership is exactly what we need as we expand our presence in Texas and respond to the region’s demand for skilled, career-ready technicians. UTI-San Antonio is more than a new campus—it’s a long-term investment in students, industry, and the future of workforce education in the state.”

“San Antonio’s vibrant manufacturing and energy sectors need career-ready technicians,” said Dr. Christopher Finn. “As Campus President, I’m honored to lead the launch of this new campus, support the success of our students, and build a collaborative culture among faculty and staff. Together with our community partners, we’ll help students turn their passion into professional momentum from day one.”
