The City of Cape Coral will host a Business & Industry Roundtable for Information Technology (IT) Friday, Feb. 20, at City Hall.

City officials will meet with companies across the IT and digital media ecosystem to discuss industry needs, growth opportunities, and how Cape Coral can strengthen its position as a competitive IT and media hub, as well as engage in broader discussion with attendees over coffee and light refreshments.

This includes:

  • Software developers
  • IT services and managed service providers
  • Cybersecurity firms
  • Cloud and data service providers
  • Telecommunications and network infrastructure firms
  • Digital marketing and creative agencies
  • Media production and streaming/content studios
  • Electronic/IT equipment repair and maintenance businesses

This roundtable is part of the City’s ongoing Business & Industry Roundtable Series and is designed to foster open dialogue with local businesses and industries. Attendees will have the opportunity to share insights, voice concerns, ask questions about the Rental Registration Program, and explore ways the City can better support the industry.

The goals of the roundtable include:

  • Allow industry leaders to connect and discuss challenges specific to Cape Coral.
  • Exploring economic trends and opportunities within the IT and media value chain, including software, content, infrastructure, and support services.
  • Identifying future programs and initiatives to support business retention and growth.

Registration is required, and seating is limited. To register, please email the City of Cape Coral’s Economic and Business Development Office at EDevOffice@CapeCoral.gov; staff will respond with confirmation and additional event details. Please be sure to RSVP no later than Monday, Feb. 16.
