This special edition featured the winning cover photo by local artist and photographer Becky Pitman, co-owner of Studio Fifty Photography with partner Fernando Torres. Becky’s image was selected through a public cover contest that gave community members the opportunity to vote for their favorite local photo to represent BeLocal. “BeLocal is all about connecting new homeowners with the hidden gems, trusted businesses, and beloved places that locals love,” said Tanya Burkhardt, Owner of BeLocal Upper Miami Valley. “This event brought that mission to life—celebrating the incredible talent in our community, like Becky and Fernando, while also spotlighting the many reasons people love living in the Upper Miami Valley.”
