Conor McGregor believes he’s more dangerous inside the Octagon than he’s ever been, and he vows to prove it on Saturday.

McGregor is scheduled to make his return in the UFC 329 headliner. The Irish megastar will collide with Max Holloway, and both men have been sharing their pre-fight thoughts. While “Blessed” sees himself taking McGregor into deep waters and “drowning” him, the “Notorious” one predicts a far different outcome.

During the UFC 329 countdown show, McGregor said he envisions a knockout victory over Holloway in Las Vegas.

“You do not want to be anywhere inside that Octagon with me,” McGregor said. “I am dangerous everywhere. I can knock you unconscious from everywhere inside that Octagon, and that’s what I plan to do.”

While some question how much fight Conor McGregor has in him at this stage, the former two-division champion feels he’s better than ever and refocused. He thinks that’s bad news for Holloway.

“There’s a different animal entirely that is in front of Max Holloway here, and he’s gonna feel every bit of it,” McGregor said.

Many are wondering how McGregor will perform after being sidelined for three years. After recovering from a broken leg, McGregor was hoping to make a 2024 return against Michael Chandler, but an injury derailed that plan. Holloway is a tough task after spending that much time away from the Octagon.

Holloway is looking to get back on track in vintage fashion. “Blessed” lost his BMF title fight against Charles Oliveira back in March.  This will be the first time Holloway competes at welterweight, while McGregor has had bouts at 170 pounds. Just how much the weight will play a role in Saturday’s outcome is what some fans are intrigued by.

Do you expect a better version of Conor McGregor on Saturday, or will it be a bad night for “Mystic Mac?” Share your prediction in the comments below.
