CINCINNATI (Cincinnati Business Courier) – Vertical construction on a large new apartment development is underway at the site of a former automotive scrap yard in Clermont County. Public officials hope it’s the first redevelopment project of many nearby.

Metropolitan Holdings May 7 hosted a groundbreaking ceremony for Conrad, a five-story multifamily development at 1005 Business 28 in Miami Township.

Conrad will offer 315 apartments, roughly 70% of them being one-bedroom units, according to Metropolitan Holdings CEO Matt Vekasy.
