Two children reported missing Friday afternoon in northwest Atlanta have been found safe, according to police.

ATLANTA — The Atlanta Police Department confirmed Saturday that the 9- and 10-year-olds have been reunited with their families and are in good health.

The children were last seen around 4:20 p.m. Friday after leaving a home on Etheridge Drive NW. Police considered them “critically missing” and asked for the public’s help in finding them.

Authorities have not released details about where or how the children were located.

Anyone with concerns about a missing person is asked to contact the Atlanta Police Department’s Special Victims Unit at 404-546-4235 or call 911 in an emergency.
