OXNARD, Calif. (KLTV) – The Dallas Cowboys are looking to extend the contract of defensive tackle Quinnen Williams, Chief Operating Officer Stephen Jones said.

Jones spoke at the State of the Cowboys Address ahead of training camp on Tuesday.

“We had some discussions with the agent about how to go about the process,” Jones said. “Certainly he’s one of the best in the business. What that market is, obviously it evolves and changes with each new deal, which is the case at any position. But certainly he’s at the top of the list in terms of people that we want to keep around here long term. Camp always seems to be a nice time to look at something like that.”
