After six years at the helm in the CEO role with the Dallas Mavericks, Cynt Marshall will retire at the end of 2024 and transition into a consultant role for the duration of 2025. Under the organization’s new ownership with the Adelson family, Marshall most recently helped coordinate its new broadcasting deal with WFAA Channel 8. Most notably, the first African American female CEO in NBA history overhauled the Mavericks corporate culture with an emphasis on diversity and inclusion, while also becoming a force in the Dallas community with programs such as the GEM (Girls Empowered by Mavericks) Program and “Mavs Take ACTION!”.

Sean Donohue, Chief Executive Officer
After 40 years in the aviation industry, DFW Airport CEO Sean Donhue will be stepping down from his post after 11 years in the position. Donohue got his start with United Airlines as senior vice president of operations in 1984, where he stayed for 26 years before a brief three-year stint with Virgin Australia as COO before the move to Dallas in 2013. Donohue has overseen a mass amount of growth and expansion, making the airport the third busiest in the world, the first carbon neutral airport in North America, and upped its economic influence to have a $38 billion annual payroll, generating $5 billion in local and state taxes, as well as 634,000 jobs.

Williams, with over a decade of leadership experience as CEO of an oilfield services company, will lead CEC’s strategic expansion across the U.S. His expertise in managing multi-region operations and background in private equity and mergers will support the company’s focus on targeted acquisitions.
