Dallas Wings vs Minnesota Lynx Lineups, Sneak Peek
Minnesota Lynx: They are only looking up
The Lynx will come into this game after a terrific 23-point win over the Phoenix Mercury, as Natisha Hiederman and Napheesa Collier each had 18 points. They shot a tremendous 48% from the three-point line, nailing 12 triples.
It was another brilliant team effort for Minnesota, which is yet to lose this season. Their half-court centric game focuses on elaborate passing and a strong inside-out game. You can hit Collier in the post if you miss a couple of shots from deep.
Collier’s versatile post, mid-range, and three-point game opens up the offense, and an extra pass can be lethal with knockdown shooters. Then you can always rely on mid-range expert Courtney Williams to manufacture offense in tenous conditions.
Unsurprisingly, the squad is #1 in assists with 23.7 APG. They are #2 in 3-point %(36.8%) and #1 in FG% (46.6%). The 2024 Finalists have unfinished business and are itching for a ring.
Dallas Wings: Miserable season thus far
The Wings enter the affair after a disappointing 14-point loss (79-93) despite a 16-point outing by DiJonai Carrington. They have now lost four in a row for the second time this season. The team has fallen apart without their rookie Floor General, Paige Bueckes.
It wasn’t doing any good with her, but her absence has decimated the guard depth. Arike Ogunbowale and NaLyssa Smith have undoubtedly been the biggest underperformers this season. Ogunbowale’s scoring is down from 22.2 PPG last season (38.3% FG) to 15.2 PPG this season (35.3).
NaLyssa Smit’s scoring has dropped from 10.6 PPG last season to 7.7 PPG this season. Apart from these scoring issues, Wings have one of the worst defenses in the league. They have conceded 88.9 PPG, the second-worst effort in the league.

Dallas Wings vs Minnesota Lynx Total Over/Under Prediction- WNBA Best Bets
The Wings’ defense has been in tatters. A team like Lynx would fancy a 90+ points night against them. As for the Lynx, they have allowed 80+ in just two games.
The Wings need their rook back soon to counter such a strong defensive squad. Currently, they lack a strong passing team without her. Thus, they can be contained under 75 here. Overall, I see the score being in the 150-155 range.

Dallas Wings vs Minnesota Lynx Player Props Predictions- WNBA Betting Picks
Napheesa Collier O 9.5 rebounds: The stellar Lynx forward is averaging 8.7 RPG this season. She has collected 10 or more rebounds in four straight games. There will be plenty of misses to clean up here, so I expect her to go “Over” again.
DiJonai Carrington O 16.5 points: Carrington has led the scoring charge multiple times, contributing 15 or more in five straight games. I expect her to cross the 17-point mark here.
Alanna Smith O 2.5 triples: The Lynx center has showcased tremendous shooting touch again this season. She is hitting a career-high 2 three-pointers per game, making 3 or more in three games. I expect her to do the same here.
Main pick: Points: Napheesa Collier Over 9.5 rebounds at BetMGM

Dallas Wings vs Minnesota Lynx Prediction
The Wings have looked helpless throughout the season. They need to get their energy back, and Bueckers is the perfect antidote to at least stay competitive. As for the Lynx, such a squad is mincemeat.
They are in ruthless mode and looking more dangerous each day. Thus, I expect them to cover the spread here.
