Dana White Reacts To Josh Hokit’s UFC 324 Post-Fight Rant

Rising Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Heavyweight prospect Josh Hokit delivered a statement performance at UFC 324 last weekend (Sat., Jan. 24, 2026), steamrolling fellow wrestler Denzel Freeman and stopping him with just one second left in the opening round inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Inside the Octagon, Hokit looked every bit like a future problem for the division. He imposed his will early, overwhelmed Freeman with pressure, and never allowed the fight to develop beyond his terms. Unfortunately for Hokit, the conversation quickly shifted away from his dominant win once he grabbed the microphone.

As has become tradition, Hokit launched into another polarizing post-fight speech that instantly drew attention — and not all of it positive.

During the UFC 324 post-fight press conference, UFC CEO Dana White was asked about Hokit’s remarks, and his response was noticeably lukewarm.

“I heard about it,” White said. “I didn’t see it. I don’t love it.”

That reaction stood out, especially considering White’s long-standing stance on fighter free speech and his usual hands-off approach to post-fight interviews. This time, however, there was no ringing endorsement or familiar defense.

Hokit didn’t do himself any favors afterward either, following up his Octagon speech with an awkward, corny backstage interview that quickly made the rounds on social media.

Cringe-worthy or not, people are talking about him.

However, more than anything, the results speak for themselves. Hokit is now 8-0 as a professional with a perfect 100 percent finish rate and has started his UFC career 2-0. While his microphone skills may still be a work in progress, his performances inside the cage continue to justify the growing hype.
