After weeks of anticipation, the ‘best pizza spot in Denver’ has been crowned.
What started as a 32-restaurant bracket created by the Denver Gazette resulted in a final match-up between CHAR Stone Fired Pizza and Pizzeria Leopold after multiple rounds of reader voting.
Once the numbers of the final match-up were crunched, it was revealed that Pizzeria Leopold would be crowned the winner, accumulating 57.3 percent of votes in the final ‘championship’ round.
Pizzeria Leopold is located in Lakewood and carries a high 4.7-star rating on Google Reviews. It’s known for its East Coast-style pizzas and a focus on fresh and simple ingredients.
