The garage is set to take over the block at 1215 Walker St., adjacent to the Houston Center office and retail complex, according to a news release from Houston Center co-owner Stream Realty Partners. The 12-story garage will have roughly 2,053 parking spaces, a skybridge connected to the 46-story One Houston Center, electric vehicle charging stations and a parking guidance system.

“The acquisition of Block 95 represents another significant investment in the long-term future of Houston Center and Downtown Houston,” Kyle Valentine, executive managing director & partner at Stream, said in the release.

Groundbreaking is expected in 2027. The development will feature full-size parking spaces, wider drive aisles, enhanced lighting and security, modern finishes and improved wayfinding.

“The planned garage will allow us to meet the long-term parking needs of the campus while providing the flexibility to accommodate a broader range of tenant requirements,” Valentine said.”Combined with a modern parking experience, this investment reinforces our commitment to creating a premier workplace destination that meets the evolving needs of today’s office users.”

The newly announced Block 95 project is part of a broader transformation of Houston Center following the 2025 acquisition of the 4.6-million-square-foot campus.

“The planned garage will expand the campus’ parking capacity while supporting the long-term vision for one of Downtown Houston’s most prominent mixed-use office destinations,” according to the release.

The garage will allow Houston Center to provide a roughly 2:1,000 parking ratio across the campus, meaning two parking spaces for every 1,000 square feet of space. Stream Realty Partners’ Ramsey March and Blake Bell will oversee development of the project, while Ryan Barbles and Matt Asvestas will continue to lead leasing efforts for Houston Center.
