MIAMI LAKES, FLA. (WSVN) – A driver was OK after she crashed her car into a canal in Miami Lakes.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue arrived at the scene at Northwest 67th Avenue and Loch Ness Drive, Thursday morning.
A witness said she drove by a sign and went straight into the water.
The driver was able to get out of the vehicle on her own and was treated by first responders at the scene.
A good Samaritan, who was working on the roof of a house nearby, watched it happened and rushed to help the driver out.
She was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
Her SUV has since been towed away.
