EA Sports College Football 25 Gameplay

The developers have released tons of deep dives over the weeks on EA Sports College Football 25 Gameplay. In terms of features, it seems the new Wear & Tear system is perhaps the most important. This new system makes every tackle important, as your players will wear down over the course of the game. For example, say you begin the game with a 96 OVR Ollie Gordon II. For each time you make contact with a defender, your player’s health slowly deteriorates this.

It’s important to manage your players’ health across all modes to keep star players healthy for big games. There are multiple ways to help your player recover, and you’ll need to manage the system in a way that keeps your players on the field and away from the doctors.

College Football 25’s Gameplay includes a ton of little new details, like a Switch Stick mechanic, updated Pitching game, and Passing System that looks similar to Madden 24’s. However, It seems CFB 25 moves a lot faster, to make the gameplay feel vastly different.

Another big gameplay feature is player abilities, and there’s two categories of player abilities. Firstly, physical abilities typically influence the attributes of players. However, Mental abilities help players in different situations. If you’re playing in a stadium with a loud crowd, you’ll want a QB with the proper mental ability to fight off the pressure.

In terms of game modes, College Football 25 offers the following:

  • Dynasty – Start as a Head Coach or coordinator, pick a school, and enjoy up t0 30 years of franchise-building. Recruit new players via High School or Transfer Portal and improve your coaching staff as you fight for a College Football playoff spot.
  • Road To Glory – Create your own player and begin your College Football career. Generally, you need to manage your weekly schedule by practicing, studying, and more in just a limited amount of time. The five positions in RTG include QB, RB, WR, MLB, and CB.
  • Ultimate Team (CUT) – Ultimate Team, but for College Football 25. If you play any new EA Sports game, you’ll be familiar with the system here.
  • Road To The College Football Playoff – Essentially an online H2H mode with a seasonal element. You play against other users online and need to win a certain amount of games to enter a National Championship title. Rinse and repeat as you can play with any of the game’s 134 schools.

Overall, that includes all the general information we know about EA Sports College Football 25’s Release Date, which comes out this summer for PS5 and XSX. However, feel free to check out all the recent deep dives for a closer look on the gameplay and more.
