Federal Actions Impacting the Latino Community: August 18 Event

Commissioners to Host Event with Community Representatives and Elected Officials

  • The commissioners are holding an event to discuss how decisions and actions by the federal government are affecting the Latino community.
  • People are invited to attend online by Zoom or by phone. Spanish interpretation is available online through Zoom.

Boulder County, Colo. – The Boulder County Commissioners will host a discussion on how federal actions are impacting the Latino community in housing, health, climate, business, and basic needs. Information will be provided to help elected officials advocate for and respond to the challenges facing the Latino community.

Community and agency leaders have been invited to share with elected officials the data and real-life examples of the ongoing impacts the Latino community is experiencing.

Event attendees will include elected officials, government employees, and local and state partners.

Public Invited to Attend By Zoom or Phone

The event is scheduled for Monday, August 18, 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Due to limited seating, members of the public are invited to observe the discussion through Zoom or by calling in. No registration is required. Spanish interpretation will be available.
