The Moab property that opened as Field Station in 2023—with its gear shop, local event venue, and adventure-focused lodging—is transforming again.

The hotel is now becoming Slackline Moab, Outset Collection by Hilton, following a partnership between AutoCamp and Hilton. Bookings are open for stays under the new name beginning this month.

The property has undergone a dramatic transformation over the past few years. What was once an old motel was reimagined by AutoCamp, a luxury glamping company, as the flagship Field Station location in 2023.

The property features a 600-square-foot gear shop with rental and guiding services, a café, and event space that has hosted local programs like Science on Screen.

Now Hilton has acquired the property as part of Outset Collection by Hilton, the company’s newest lifestyle brand launched in October 2025. Slackline Moab will be one of Hilton’s first two Outset Collection properties to open.
