Several players have hit the wire to wrap up the weekend.
On Sunday, five NHLers were placed on waivers. Andrew Mangiapane and Alec Regula of the Edmonton Oilers, Florida Panthers forward Luke Kunin, St. Louis Blues forward Robby Fabbri and Vancouver Canucks defenseman Guillaume Brisebois have been made available to the rest of the league.

If any of those names clear on Monday, they will be eligible to be assigned to their respective American Hockey League affiliates.
Mangiapane’s name has come up in trade conversations for the last couple of weeks, as the Oilers are looking to offload him in their attempt to bolster their roster. However, it has not been easy to find a suitor for the 29-year-old, as he has a full no-trade clause this season.
Mangiapane has appeared in 52 games this season, scoring seven goals and seven assists for 14 points, far from the 40-plus-point pace that made him one of the best players on the Calgary Flames roster just a couple of years ago.
In 550 career games, he has scored 130 goals and 127 assists for 257 points, with another 14 points in 37 postseason games. Mangiapane is in the first season of his two-year contract, which carries an AAV of $3.6 million through the 2026-27 campaign.
Regula has spent most of the season with the Oilers, though he has been a healthy scratch for a lot of time. In the 29 games he has appeared in, he has registered three points. The 25-year-old defenseman has also played three games for the Bakersfield Condors, Edmonton’s AHL affiliate.
The West Bloomfield, Mich. native is in the first season of a two-year contract, which has a cap hit of $775,000 through next year.
Fabbri was signed by the Blues in December, as the team needed depth following injuries earlier this year. The veteran center has played in 15 games thus far, scoring a goal and three assists for four points.
Prior to joining the Blues, the Stanley Cup champion appeared in three games for the AHL’s Charlotte Checkers, scoring a goal and two points.
Kunin has been with the Panthers all season, appearing in 44 of the team’s 59 games thus far. The 28-year-old has scored two goals and four points, last finding his name on the scoresheet on Jan. 29.

Brisebois has yet to play a game this season. An offseason lower-body injury led to the Quebec native requiring surgery. He appeared in three games with the Canucks, last seeing NHL action last January. In 48 games with the Abbotsford Canucks, Vancouver’s top farm team, he posted two goals and five points. Brisebois also notched three points in the postseason, as Abbotsford won the Calder Cup for the first time.
Brisebois is on a one-year, two-way contract with an NHL cap hit of $775,000.
