WACO, Texas – Youcef Rihane and Alex Bulte concluded their incredible run in the semifinal round of the NCAA Men’s Tennis Individual Championships. This marked the first back-to-back doubles semifinal appearances in program history.

The match began with eight consecutive service games to build to a 4-4 first set score. The Michigan pairing secured the first service break of the match before serving out the set to give the early advantage to the Wolverines. The second set saw Rihane and Bulte win two service games before dropping the second and final set.

Rihane and Bulte became the second Seminole pairing to reach the semifinal round and the third pairing to be named ITA All-Americans. FSU claimed All-American honors in both the singles and doubles championships for the first time in program history.

The Florida State men’s tennis team completes the fall season and will begin its conference title defense in Janaury.
