The Melting Pot is opening soon in Allen, according to signage at the location.
The Florida-based company, which was founded in 1975, offers a variety of fondue cooking styles. The company has over 90 locations in North America, including six in Texas, according to its website.

2. Panj Tara to bring north Indian cuisine to Allen
Panj Tara is coming soon to Allen, owner Amanpreet Singh said.
The restaurant, which also has a Frisco location, offers chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, shahi paneer, butter naan and more, according to its website. The Frisco location opened in 2025 and is located at 8898 Coleman Blvd., Frisco.

3. Golf simulation business Back Nine now open in Allen
Back Nine’s Allen location opened in late February, owner Cory Caperton said.
The business offers an indoor golf simulation experience, per its website. Back Nine also has locations in Denton, Keller, Flower Mound, Colleyville and across the U.S.
4. 2nd Ideal Dental now offering services in Allen
The second Allen-area Ideal Dental office opened late February, a company representative said.
The business offers general dentistry, emergency dental care, orthodontics, oral surgery and more, according to the practice’s website. Ideal Dental has another Allen location at 1985 N. Central Expressway, Ste. 110.
5. Thai Sushi Crush celebrates grand opening in Allen
Thai Sushi Crush celebrated its grand opening in Allen in late February, a company representative said.
Its menu includes Thai basil stir fry, sushi, lo mein, veggie egg rolls, edamame and more, according to its website.
