Ready, set, hunt, Dave & Buster’s is turning Reno into a real-life game board.
Before opening its newest location, the arcade and entertainment giant is challenging locals to a city-wide flag hunt packed with prizes, clues, and VIP perks.
Dave & Buster’s is opening its newest location at 13969 S Virginia Street in the Shayden Summit Reno Mall and inviting the community to take part in a city-wide “Find the Flag” challenge.
The hunt offers participants a chance to win a $100 gift card and exclusive early access to a VIP Preview Party before the venue opens to the public.
Beginning Tuesday, July 15 and running through Saturday, July 19, five Dave & Buster’s flags will be hidden in various locations across Reno.
Each day, two clues will be released at daveandbusters.com/renofindtheflag to help players track down the flags.
The first person to find a flag each day will win a $100 gift card and an invite to the VIP event for themselves and up to five guests.
“Our ‘Find the Flag’ scavenger hunt is hitting Reno, and we couldn’t think of a better way to engage with the community before we officially open our doors,” said General Manager Drew Maheras. “It’s a great chance for locals to join in on the excitement and be among the first to experience everything the new Dave & Buster’s has to offer.”
The Reno location will feature more than 100 arcade games, a full restaurant menu, handcrafted drinks, and a state-of-the-art sports bar designed for game-day viewing.
The VIP Preview Party gives winners an opportunity to explore the new venue ahead of its official opening.
Each participant is eligible to win only once. Prizes include the $100 gift card and a one-time VIP event invitation.
Large ticket items are excluded from the giveaway, and other restrictions may apply.

Neighbors in south Reno will have a new food, drink and entertainment option opening soon at the Summit.
Metcalf Builders broke ground on the new restaurant and entertainment center back in November 2024 on the 20,000+ square foot property.
The Summit has confirmed that their newest addition will open its doors on July 28.
Dave & Busters is a chain restaurant with locations nationwide that offers arcade games, sports viewing, and a diverse food and drink selection.
