Greater Lafayette Commerce and community leaders came together for the Third Annual Latino Pioneros Dinner, an event celebrating Latino entrepreneurs in the community.
The event recognized the year’s business openings, growth, anniversaries and future.
Awards were also given to outstanding community members, according to a GLC Facebook post.
Salvador Cornejo of Momax Marble & Granite was recognized for his leadership and work expanding networks.
Aida Muñoz of Centier Bank was recognized for his community-building across decades.
José Eliseo Del Real of Del Real Auto was recognized for his work setting the groundwork for Latino business as early as the 1980s.
