WASHINGTON — The Super Bowl returns to the California Bay Area on Sunday, Feb. 8, as the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks face off for the country’s biggest sporting event.

Aside from the anticipated matchup, the game has a stacked entertainment lineup, including award-winning musical artists. Bad Bunny will perform at the halftime show, bringing his Puerto Rican flavor to the West Coast.

Despite the packed lineup, the NFL championship game tends to start on time for the most part.

Super Bowl LX, which stands for 60, will kick off around 6:30 p.m. ET (5:30 p.m. Central Time, 4:30 p.m. Mountain Time and 3:30 p.m. Pacific Time) at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. The last time the stadium hosted the NFL championship was a decade ago when the Denver Broncos beat the Carolina Panthers in 2016.

What time does the Super Bowl kick off?

The game will kick off around 6:30 p.m. Eastern time, 5:30 p.m. Central Time, 4:30 p.m. Mountain Time and 3:30 p.m. Pacific Time.

What channel is the Super Bowl on?

Super Bowl LX will be shown on NBC and livestreamed on Peacock.

Who is favored to win the Super Bowl?

The Seahawks are a 4.5-point favorite, according to BetMGM Sportsbook.

Who is performing at the Super Bowl halftime show?

The 2026 Super Bowl halftime show will be headlined by Bad Bunny.

He has become one of the world’s most-streamed artists with albums such as “Un Verano Sin Ti,” an all-Spanish-language LP.

The halftime show has become one of the most-watched musical events globally, regularly drawing more than 100 million viewers and dominating social media conversation during and after the performance.

Bad Bunny joins an elite roster of recent headliners.

In February 2025, Kendrick Lamar took the stage at Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans, joined by SZA and a special guest appearance by Samuel L. Jackson. Usher headlined Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas in February 2024, delivering a career-spanning set that featured surprise guests and highlighted his decades of R&B hits. Rihanna returned to performing after a years-long hiatus to headline Super Bowl LVII in Glendale, Arizona, in February 2023, confirming during the show that she was pregnant with her second child.

There will also be an opening ceremony kicked off by Green Day. The trio, who formed in the East Bay subregion of the San Francisco Bay Area and are made up of Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Tré Cool, are expected to perform a selection of their best-known anthems as part of the tribute.

Who is singing the national anthem at the Super Bowl?

The NFL announced in late November that Grammy-nominated singer and songwriter Charlie Puth will be singing the national anthem ahead of the big game.

The multi-faceted artist is a singer, songwriter and producer who has more than 35 billion stream and multiple platinum singles. From “Attention” to “We Don’t Talk Anymore” to “See You Again,” Puth has established himself as a consistent hitmaker, the NFL said.

Additionally, Brandi Carlile will sing “America the Beautiful,” and Coco Jones will deliver “Lift Every Voice and Sing.”
