Go Do That! is a curated roundup of weekend arts and culture events from the San Antonio Report.

Get a head start on the holidays with handmade crafts at the Esperanza Peace and Justice Center’s 35th Annual International Mercado de Paz/Peace Market. The festive fun starts Friday at 10 a.m. with music by the Conjunto Heritage Taller, The Foreign Arm and Andrea “Vocab” Sanderson and others, and the market runs through Sunday.

The San Antonio Botanical Garden offers an early glimpse of holiday lights with Illuminate, a garden full of larger-than-life light sculptures. Ticketed entry times run every 30 minutes from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday’s opening night.

One hundred thousand holiday lights will illuminate the 43rd Annual Ford Holiday River Parade on Friday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., with 27 illuminated floats and five entertainment floats to escort Santa and Mrs. Claus along the river. This year’s Toy Box Adventures theme promises fun for the whole family. Tickets range from $24 to $69.

Then later Friday night, head to Stable Hall for everybody’s favorite classic country cover band The Texases. They rocked the joint during the grand opening concert in January, so come prepared to dance. Doors at 7 p.m.

A Saturday song swap? Head to Dellview Music Center at Noon to hear a bevy of songsters including Brandon Padier, Chavela and many more exchanging self-penned tunes. Wander a local vendors market and partake of food and drink until 5 p.m., all part of a fundraiser to benefit Dellview’s after school music clubs.

Sunday is San Antonio Zine Fest. Sociedad Fraternal Cruz Blanca on the West Side hosts this annual event for zinesters to display their wares and find community. Free for all ages from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
