Denver-based Century Communities Inc. (NYSE: CCS) is the first homebuilder to open models at the 37,000-acre Teravalis master-planned community under development in Buckeye.
“Being the first with models open is real bragging rights with these guys,” said Charley Freericks, president of the Arizona region for The Woodlands, Texas-based Howard Hughes Holdings Inc. (NYSE: HHH), developer of the new master-planned community.
Century Communities is among the first seven homebuilders to be selected to build at Floreo, the first village within Teravalis.
In April 2024, Century Communities paid $2.39 million for 114 lots at Tervalis then paid $1.41 million for another 56 lots in December 2024, according to Tempe-based Vizzda LLC.
