SAN ANTONIO – As the temperatures keep climbing here in San Antonio, you might notice more critters looking for relief.
The president of Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation, Lynn Cuny says, hotter temps are only part of the reason we are seeing more of these animals in our backyard.
Cuny explained that animals such as deer, bobcats, raccoons, and ringtail cats are mostly in search of water during a drought.
What is also happening is with the continuous expansion of San Antonio, wildlife is now part of the landscape within city boundaries.
While Cuny understands that some people may have a negative reaction to wildlife in their homes, she says it best to call experts like her group to help educate rather than doing it yourself.
