The Westfield Police Department recently announced the retirement of Lt. Brodie Houston after a 40-year career in law enforcement, including 32 with WPD.

Houston began his career with the Montgomery County Police Department and joined WPD in 1993. Over the past three decades he has served in key leadership roles at WPD, including operations commander, Investigations Division commander, assistant chief of police and lieutenant overseeing professional standards and accreditation.
Houston was honored with both the Medal of Valor and the Lifesaving Award in 1995. He also played a pivotal role in establishing WPD’s Detective Division.
