The recently renovated 3636 Overbrook Lane in River Oaks was the most expensive Houston-area home sold the week of Sept. 21.

HOUSTON — 3636 Overbrook Lane in River Oaks was the most expensive Houston-area home sold the week of Sept. 21, according to the Houston Association of Realtors.

The home was recently renovated and expanded by Houston-based Fifty Seventh & 7th Luxury Homes. The 6,084-square-foot home was constructed in 2018 but received an update with new finishes, Venetian plaster walls, brass inlay floors, designer stone, custom cabinetry and fluted millwork, according to the listing.

The two-story home has five bedrooms, five full bathrooms and one half-bath. The floor plan includes a formal study, dining room, full-size bar with a temperature-controlled wine room, powder bath, designer kitchen with a large pantry, a junior suite and a primary suite with dual closets.

Amenities include a game room with a bar, a fitness room with a private sauna, a pool, covered entertaining pavilion and an expansive yard.
