ANGEL SALCEDO HAD A CHANCE TO CATCH UP WITH THEM. DEATRICH WISE, JUNIOR HAS BEEN IN NEW ENGLAND FOR SEVEN YEARS, BUT HIS FOCUS HAS ALWAYS BEEN JUST AS MUCH ON THE COMMUNITY AS IT IS ON FOOTBALL. AND TODAY HE’S OUT IN BOSTON SUPPORTING HIGH SCHOOL KIDS. I REALIZED WITH MY FRIENDS AND THE PEOPLE AROUND ME IN MY COMMUNITY, THEY THEY LEFT COLLEGE STILL TRYING TO FIND OUT WHO THEY WERE. SO TRYING TO FIND OUT WHAT THEY WANTED TO DO. FOR THE SECOND YEAR IN A ROW, THE WISE UP FOUNDATION HAS SELECTED 17 HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS TO LEARN FROM. A PROGRAM WILL BE INTRODUCED TO WORKING TRADES THEY MAY NOT HAVE VIEWED AS OPTIONS. THERE’S SO MANY THINGS OUTSIDE OF SCHOOL THAT WE WE LEARN LEADERSHIP HOW TO MANAGE OUR EMOTIONS, STRESS, TAXES, FINANCES AND STUFF LIKE THAT. SO THIS SIX WEEK PROGRAM KIND OF COVERS THAT. WE ALSO BROUGHT IN LIKE PLUMBING, HVAC, CONSTRUCTION, THINGS LIKE THAT. FOR THOSE WHO DON’T KNOW WHAT THE BUILDING TRADES ARE, I’M INTERESTED IN BECOMING AN ELECTRICIAN. AND I SEEN SOME CONSTRUCTION, SO I WANT TO LIKE GET MY HANDS DIRTY, SEE WHAT HAPPENS, AND SEE HOW THAT GOES. IT’S VERY COOL. LIKE, I’M SO HAPPY, LIKE LIKE I’M KIND OF GETTING TEARY, BUT HE DOESN’T REALLY KNOW WHAT HE WANTS TO DO RIGHT NOW. AND I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE A GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR HIM. I’M HERE FOR THE BETTERMENT OF THE KIDS. I’M HERE FOR THE BETTERMENT OF THIS COMMUNITY AND TO HELP CHANGE LIVES. AND IF SOMEONE CAN LEAVE THIS PROGRAM, LIK
