WASHINGTON – Sen. Jon Husted (R-Ohio) today delivered a speech on the Senate floor congratulating Denison University’s athletic programs on their multiple 2026 NCAA Division III national championships.
During the 2025–2026 academic year, Denison student-athletes captured four NCAA Division III national championships, one of the most successful seasons in the university’s history. The men’s baseball, men’s swimming and diving, women’s basketball and men’s doubles tennis programs all brought home national titles.
Husted hosted the teams, coaches and families in Washington, D.C. to celebrate their accomplishments.
