The upscale lounge in T-Mobile Arena is under new management.

Hyde Lounge at T-Mobile Arena announced on social media it had permanently closed as of April 29. A representative for MGM Resorts International, which partially owns the site, said the lounge began operating as The Tower Club over the weekend.

From SBE Entertainment, Hyde Lounge is from the same operators as the shuttered Hyde Bellagio nightclub, which closed its doors in July 2019.

SBE said the entertainment firm is no longer involved with the 5th floor space and is not affliated with the venue’s rebranding, operations or management.

“We look back on our 10-year tenure with immense pride,” said SBE in a comment to the Las Vegas Review-Journal. “Since our launch in April 2016, our goal was to provide a premier, elevated lounge experience, and we successfully delivered on that promise for a decade.”

VIP Services Manager Justin Weiss, who had been with Hyde for 10 years, said the contract for the space was up and the arena decided to part ways.

“We knew it was coming. It wasn’t a shock,” said Weiss. “No hard feelings.”

According to Weiss, the arena did offer “for a lot of people to stay.”

Hyde Lounge was a part of the arena since its opening in 2016. The 18,000-square-foot space had two platforms that extended over the arena seating for viewing, as well as a lounge with a bar and restaurant.

SBE also operates a Hyde Lounge at the Crypto.com Arena and nightlife venue Hyde Sunset, both in Los Angeles.

This article has been updated to clarify the space remains open under a new name and new management.
