Lockheed Martin Enterprise Operations is seeking an Information Technology Intern to join the Enterprise Business and Digital Transformation (EBDT) team. In this role your duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Data analysis and visualization
• Machine learning and modeling
• Scientific computing and simulations
• Data science and business intelligence
• Software development and scripting
This position has the possibility to extend assignment into the academic year at fewer hours.
You must be a US Citizen to qualify for this position.
Basic Qualifications:
Pursuing a Masters degree in an accredited degree program in Data Science, Math, or related major
Programming experience with Python and R
Productivity software proficiency using Microsoft and Google Office products
Development environment familiarity with R Studio, Visual Studio Code, and/or Jupyter Notebooks
Ability to work onsite at Fort Worth facility
Desired Skills:
Python programming for math problem-solving, computer science concepts such as arrays, matrices, data structures, and coding principles.
R programming for statistical analysis, probability distributions, and working with large datasets.
Operating system proficiency with both Windows and MacOS operating systems
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize requirements, and meet deadlines
Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
