Lionel Messi‘s 20th league goal of the season was not enough to claim all three points for Inter Miami as they were held 2-2 at home to San Diego FC.
Anders Dreyer grabbed a point for the visitors with his second of the match eight minutes from time.

Dreyer had opened the scoring after 12 minutes, clipping a through ball from Jeppe Tverskov over Dayne St Clair.
Messi, who grabbed his 100th goal for the club in Wednesday’s Campeones Cup win over Cruz Azul, levelled 12 minutes later.
His free-kick was swung in towards the far post and eluded everyone to sneak into the net.
Luis Suarez put Miami ahead after 74 minutes, converting from a narrow angle.
But Dreyer beat the Miami offside trap to make it four consecutive MLS draws for the hosts.
