CARTERVILLE, Ill. (KFVS) – John A. Logan College Baseball and Softball is hosting its First Pitch Dinner next month, and it will feature two special guests.
It is set for Saturday, January 11, 2025, at 6 p.m. at the White Pines Event Center in Carterville, Illinois.
The dinner will include a catered meal, cash bar and silent auction.
Highlighting this event, MLB pitcher Lance Lynn and St. Louis Cardinals TV host Jim Hayes will be in attendance, answering questions and talking about their experiences.
Lynn is a veteran pitcher for the MLB who has played for several teams including the St. Louis Cardinals, Chicago White Sox and Texas Rangers.
Hayes is a host and reporter for Bally Sports Midwest and covers the Cardinals for the network’s pregame and postgame shows and live game coverage.
Tickets are $75 per person. Proceeds from this event will benefit the JALC Baseball and Softball programs.
