Jane Fonda, Hillary Clinton and more have been tapped to speak at Caring Across Generations’ CareFest 2025: The Future Forum event.

The upcoming event will be held at New York City’s Ford Foundation from Nov. 18-20. The three-day summit will bring together leaders in policy, civil society, business, technology, entertainment and journalism. The speakers will share stories, ideas and dreams for what the future of care in America could look like.

In addition to Fonda, Clinton and Brown, other speakers set to participate include #MeToo founder Tarana Burke, author Emma Heming Willis, filmmaker Hikari, A Million Little Things showrunner DJ Nash, filmmaker Liz Sargent, actresses Cristela Alonzo and Brandee Evans, The Black List founder Franklin Leonard, MSNBC host Chris Hayes, NBC anchor Richard Lui and MSNBC anchor Alicia Menendez.

“We’re thrilled to bring leading Hollywood creatives and care experts together to showcase their deeply
rich, authentic and entertaining care stories,” Caring Across Generations’ co-founder and executive director Ai-jen Poo said in a statement. “These portrayals are not only resonating with audiences and winning awards, they’re changing the narrative for more than 63 million caregivers in America, who deserve a modern, affordable and accessible care system.”

The event’s programming will include a “Care Storytelling Showcase,” where entertainment industry creatives, funders and executives can share ways they have incorporated care-inclusive storytelling into film and TV. The speakers will also be able to present their emerging voices and projects, as well as offer insights and inspiration from creators who have been able to uplift aging, disability and care in their storytelling.

The showcase is in partnership with the Writers Guild of America East; the Hollywood Radio & Television Society Foundation; the Yes, And…Laughter Lab; Disability Belongs; Gold House; the Natural Resources Defense Council; the ReelAbilities Film Festival and The Impact Lounge.

Caring Across Generations is a national organization of family caregivers, care workers, disabled people and aging adults who are working to make care more accessible, affordable and equitable for everyone. The organization is working to transform cultural norms and narratives surrounding aging, disability and care, as well as make change through federal and state-level policies and build power among the people who have been touched by care.

Additionally, Caring Across Generations is known for its award-winning script consulting and social impact campaigns for TV and film projects that have been able to offer fresh takes on care. Some of the projects the organization has supported include This Is Us, The Pitt and Nonnas.
