All-Star Jaylen Brown is having a good day after the Boston Celtics advance to the NBA Finals and he was named as the East Finals MVP. More than that, though, he is set to receive $369,000 as bonus for advancing to the championship round.
Last year, the Celtics found themselves losing to Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals. This prompted the front office to retool the roster by trading Marcus Smart and replacing him with veteran guard Jrue Holiday . Kristaps Porzingis was added to make Boston’s offense more diverse on the court.
