Hinshaw partner Jose Herrera Paez will join legal and academic leaders as part of the US District Court for the Southern District of Florida’s Hispanic Heritage Month Program on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, in Miami, Florida.
As businesses continue to navigate opportunities and challenges across borders, understanding the evolving relationship between the United States and Latin America remains critical. Moderated by University of Miami School of Law dean Patricia Sanchez Abril, Jose will join fellow Miami Law alumni attorneys on the panel, “Let’s Hear From the Next Generation: Is Miami Still the Gateway to the Americas?” to discuss their international journeys to the United States.
They will also explore the conditions that influenced their decisions to move, as well as Miami’s evolving role as a bridge between the legal communities of the United States and Latin America.
