Gregory “Goyo” Schipilliti
The Joseph A. Unanue Latino Institute at Seton Hall University is proud to welcome Gregory “Goyo” Schipilliti, to its Advisory
Council. Goyo is an International Director at DailyPay, a company dedicated to on-demand
pay solutions. Goyo is also a Seton Hall alum (2013) who was recently recognized by
(Business Elite Awards, Negocios Now and Profiles by the Leadership Journal) as a
(40 Under 40, Latinos 40 Under 40 and Latino/Hispanic Leadership Award).
“Goyo is a high energy leader who chases connections and solutions,” said Lori Tarke, executive director of the Latino Institute. “He is a builder, a mover and will be
a strong mentor. We are thrilled to have him lend his talents and vision to our students
and programs.”
Goyo was born in the family of a Spanish mother, who was born during Franco’s dictatorship,
and an Argentine father, whose family fled Mussolini’s Italy. Goyo effectively was
raised between the farmlands of Madrid and the suburbs of New Jersey. As a Latino
and Spaniard, Goyo brings his cultural insights into his leadership roles.
In his new role with the Advisory Council, Goyo will help guide the Institute in expanding
student development initiatives and by building strong partnerships rooted in culture
and purpose. “I believe in family (non-negotiable), advancing humankind and shining
Latino/Hispanic excellence,” said Goyo. “Being part of the Joseph A. Unanue Latino
Institute is about being restless in the commitment to help grow all students, so
future generations can rest more.”
With the addition of Goyo Schipilliti to its Advisory Council, the Joseph A. Unanue
Latino Institute continues its legacy of connecting students to leaders who reflect
the values of education, intercultural humility and empowerment. To learn more about
