Valley City State’s Karly Just has earned her first Frontier Conference Women’s Runner of the Week award which was announced today by the conference office.
Caleb Sarsland of Dickinson State was named as the Men’s Runner of the Week.
FRONTIER CONFERENCE Women’s Cross Country Runner-of-the-Week
Karly Just – Valley City State (N.D.) – Senior – LaMoure, N.D.- Just Set school record in 5K for the Vikings in the NCAA Division II meet – Minnesota State-Moorhead Dragon Twilight meet – 17 minutes, 54.8 seconds, placing 7th where she was the top NAIA runner (top 7 runners were from NCAA Division I)
FRONTIER CONFERENCE Men’s Cross Country Runner-of-the-Week
Caleb Sarsland – Dickinson State (N.D.) – Junior. –Bowman, N.D. – Sarsland was the top NAIA finisher at the NCAA Division II University of Mary (N.D.) cross country meet, finished 5th behind NCAA Division D1 athletes and one D2 runner – 25 minutes, 26.24 in 8K race
