Former Vice President Kamala Harris served up her signature “word salad” while attempting to deliver an inspirational speech to the cast of Broadway’s “A Wonderful World: The Louis Armstrong Musical” — with critics mocking the failed presidential candidate as the “drunk auntie.”

Harris and her husband, Doug Emhoff, were spotted taking in two Broadway productions over the weekend: “A Wonderful World” and later “Gypsy.”

After being greeted by hearty cheers from the crowd — and even a standing ovation — Harris delivered a rambling post-show speech to the cast and crew.

“When we think about these moments where we see things that are being taken, but also let’s see it, you know, nature abhors a vacuum,” Harris tells the musical’s cast in a clip shared on X.

“Where there’s a vacancy, let’s fill it. Let us know that the reality is that the progress of our nation has been about the expansion of rights, not the restriction of rights,” the former veep continues.

“We’re seeing a U-turn right now. For those rights to be maintained which means we have to be vigilant. It’s just the nature of it.”

She later added to nods from the cast and her husband: “We have to be clear-eyed. And it doesn’t mean we don’t see the beauty in everything. These things all co-exist, but I believe we fight for something, not against something.”

Detractors swiftly mocked Harris for her wordy, roundabout way of delivering a message.

“Kamala Harris hit Broadway and, of course, served up her signature word salad. A friendly reminder of what we dodged in the White House,” one person wrote alongside a clip of the speech.

Another chimed in: “Literally, the only thing worse than listening to this gobbledygook, is the folks around her nodding and clapping, as if she made sense.”

“How are they not all rolling their eyes at her inane chatter?!” a third questioned.

Another commentator compared her words to speaking with a drunken relative, writing, “Drunk auntie and her entourage of people that get paid to go ‘Mmmm.’”

Others simply shared gifs of someone mixing up a salad — a reference to Harris’ trademark “word salad” speeches.

Harris, 60, who ran in place of age-addled President Joe Biden at the last minute but lost to Donald Trump, warned she would not “go quietly into the night” after leaving office in January.

The Democrat, the country’s first female vice president, has not shared specifics about her next plans, though she is rumored to be considering a run for political office again, including as governor of California.

The state’s current leader, Gavin Newsom, is term-limited.
