Here’s an early game-by-game won-loss prediction for the Wildcats for their 2025 schedule, beginning with that home game against Hawaii and concluding with the Territorial Cup at Arizona State on Nov. 28.
The Wildcats will also host Weber State, Kansas State, Oklahoma State, BYU, Kansas and Baylor this season. They will play at Iowa State, Houston, Colorado and Cincinnati, looking to improve on their 4-8 overall record and 2-7 Big 12 record in 2024.

Aug. 30: Hawaii at Arizona
The Wildcats need to win their season opener if they want to have a chance to improve on last season’s win total. Noah Fifita and the offense will find a way to outscore Hawaii in a potential thriller.

Sept. 6: Weber State at Arizona
If the Wildcats can’t beat this FCS team that went 4-8 overall last season and 3-5 in the Big Sky Conference, this will end up being a very long season in Tucson.

Sept. 13: Kansas State at Arizona
This game is against a Big 12 team, but it isn’t a Big 12 Conference game since it was scheduled before Arizona joined the conference. Kansas State is a favorite to win the Big 12 title this season and will be too much for Arizona to handle, giving the Arizona Wildcats their first loss of 2025.

Sept. 27: Arizona at Iowa State
Arizona’s Big 12 opener is at Iowa State. Not ideal. The Cyclones have their eyes set on returning to the Big 12 championship game. Arizona’s defense won’t be able to get enough stops to pull off an upset.

Oct. 11: BYU at Arizona
This game could bring an intense atmosphere to Arizona Stadium. The Cougars have Big 12 title hopes and a very good defense that will stymie Fifita and the Wildcats.

Nov. 1: Arizona at Colorado
Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter are gone, but the Buffaloes will probably still be able to put up points this season, especially at home.

This game might be the key game on Arizona’s schedule and the one that determines if it beats its 2024 win total in 2025. We’re predicting a breakthrough win for the Wildcats on the road, giving them five wins.
