The entrepreneurial spirit is contagious among graduate students. At the beginning of the year, Abby Morgan (MS ’22) launched her own marketing agency, Waves Marketing Solutions.
She credits Bauer College for laying the foundation for her. She added that she still calls on the same strategies her professors taught her when she is hosting webinars.
The alumni mixer was her first time on campus after she graduated, and she said it felt like a full-circle moment.
“Driving through that same 5 p.m. Houston traffic, searching for parking and walking into Bauer brought back so many memories of rushing to evening classes after a full day of work,” Morgan said. “Only this time, I’m walking in as a business owner.”
