Only four NBA players have reached contract bonuses this season out of 133 total incentives across the league. Kevin Durant is among the group after earning his All-Star bonus, alongside Khris Middleton, Derrick White, and Saddiq Bey, while the vast majority of incentives remain unfulfilled or undecided.

Only a small group of players managed to hit their contract incentives this NBA season, with Kevin Durant standing out as one of just four players to successfully earn bonus money in the NBA.

Kevin Durant

Team: Houston Rockets
Position: PF
Age: 37
Height: 211 cm
Weight: 109 kg
Birth place: Washington, United States of America

Before the season, according to ESPN’s Bobby Marks, 36 players had a total of 133 different incentives written into their contracts. These bonuses are usually tied to performance targets such as games played, minutes, or individual achievements like All-Star selections.

But most of those targets have proven difficult to reach over the course of the long regular season.

Out of the 133 total incentives, 114 did not qualify, while 15 are still undecided. So far, only four bonuses have been officially reached.

Durant is among that small group, earning $1.43 million after making the All-Star team. He joins Khris Middleton, Derrick White, and Saddiq Bey as the only players to hit their bonus triggers so far.

Middleton earned $1.79 million based on games played, while White collected $1.75 million tied to games or minutes. Saddiq Bey added $111K through games played.

Both Middleton and Bey were considered unlikely to reach their incentives before the season started, making their payouts more notable once achieved.
