SALT LAKE CITY — Kiddie Academy® Educational Child Care, a nationally recognized brand of comprehensive educational child care programs, announces the grand opening of a new franchise location at 11221 South Copper Rock Drive in South Jordan. Kiddie Academy of Daybreak, which held its grand opening on Sept. 27, is owned and operated by Dr. Shardul Kaneria and Dr. Drashti Kaneria, along with Drashti’s brother Darshan Kansagra and his wife, Janki. The family also owns Kiddie Academy of Herriman.
“Our journey began in 2022, when Drashti and I relocated from Australia to Salt Lake City,” said Shardul. “Recognizing the need for outstanding early childhood education in the valley, we proudly opened Kiddie Academy of Herriman in 2024 and are thrilled to welcome Kiddie Academy of Daybreak to the community.”
The state-of-the-art, 10,500 square-foot location is equipped with 11 classrooms and features a 16,000-square-foot playground structured into four distinct zones: an infant and toddler playground, a 2–5-year-old playground, a sports field including a bike track and basketball hoops, and a garden area with outdoor art easels. The building also features solar panels, a windmill and a groundwater heating system. Kiddie Academy of Daybreak will serve 165 children ages 6 weeks to 12 years and is bringing 30 jobs to the area.
