Prior to Monday, the 19-year-old rookie out of Southern California has 15 points on 6-for-26 shooting from the field, including an 0-for-12 mark from 3-point range. James has mostly showed an impact on the defensive end in his first three outings. In his first three games of the Summer League season, he had 12 rebounds, five steals and three blocks.
The Lakers lost each of their previous four games entering Monday night’s matchup with the reigning NBA champs.
